Shelly Button1 is a palm sized, WiFi enabled scene controller that lets you run up to four different automations with simple click patterns: single, double, triple press, or long hold. Because it connects directly to your 2.4 GHz network, there is no need for an extra hub; one tap can switch on a lamp, two taps might lower the blinds, and a long press could shut the whole house down for the night.

Inside, a 400 mAh rechargeable battery delivers about 3,000 activations per charge, and you can power it over USB for even quicker responses (down to roughly 100 ms versus < 2s on battery). An RGB ring around the top gives immediate visual feedback with different colors for each press pattern or status, so you always know the command was received.

The button ties into the Shelly Cloud app but also speaks MQTT, CoAP, and a REST API, making it easy to fold into platforms like Home Assistant, Alexa, or Google Assistant, or even your own DIY projects. Slip it in a pocket, mount it by the door, or keep it on a nightstand: wherever it lives, Shelly Button1 provides a quick, tactile shortcut to your smart‑home scenes without reaching for a phone.
